Although business trips aren’t always much fun, I actually had a really good time during my most recent trip. My boss sent me to Houston for a total of five days, and although I stayed extremely busy during my trip down there, I really did enjoy myself.

During the days, my schedule was pretty much filled to the brim with a variety of different meetings. However, by the time six o’clock rolled around everyday, I was done with all of my professional obligations for the day, and was ready to cut loose and have some fun. I think the reason that I really had such a nice time in Houston was because two of my friends live down there, so we were able to hang all five nights that I was there.

Our typical evening would kick off at one of the countless great restaurants that Houston has to offer. Once we finished our dinner, we would head out and enjoy the great nightlife that can be found throughout Houston. I think my favorite aspect of the nightlife was the amount of talented musicians that we got to watch perform live at different bars and clubs.
