Taking Off for Houston Was a Lot of Fun

At the beginning of March, I made the decision that I needed to get away for awhile. The reason I decided that I needed a vacation was because I had been putting in a lot of time at work. Usually, I wouldn’t just leave my life behind suddenly, but I realized that this time around, it was actually the best thing that I could do for myself. After making this significant decision, I hopped online and took a little time to check out the latest travel deals. It took quite a bit of searching on my part, but after lots of looking, I found a trip I could afford to Houston. Since this trip was scheduled to last for four days, it seemed like it fit exactly what I had been wanting to find.

When you don’t make any plans prior to leaving for your trip, your trip schedule is pretty wide open, and this trip was no exception. Since the goal of my trip was to feel as free as possible, I decided to go ahead and get a Houston car rental for myself. After everything was booked, I had less than a week to wait until I departed for my time away.

When I got off the plane at the start of my trip, I knew that the only thing I actually had to do was picking up my Houston car rental. Since I made my Houston car rental reservation ahead of time, this was really easy to do. From that point on, I enjoyed myself to the fullest extent possible, and came home feeling completely refreshed.

I’ll Be Living in Houston in Less than a Year

After living in the same city for the past four years, it’s strange to think that I will be moving away at the end of 2009. Although I have had a great time in my current city, I am actually quite excited about the fact that I will be moving. I’m glad that I already know I’m moving at the end of 2009, because that will allow me to make the most of my remaining time here as possible.

The reason that I am moving to Houston is because I am planning on completing the last three to four semesters (depending on how many hours I take each semester) at the University of Houston. I am going to be obtaining a major in Finance and a minor in Energy Management, and since a large percentage of the companies I want to work for are located in Houston, it seems like a very good idea to make the move there.

While I haven’t started looking for an apartment in Houston yet, I plan on taking a trip down there in the later part of the year and seeing what’s available. Since I will be able to book my flight and car rental for Houston ahead of time, I should be able to take a trip for a fairly small amount of money.
